Captain Geek's Page o' Stuff Wednesday, November 03, 2004: Well, it looks like it's over. Kerry has just conceded the election. Four more years of the biggest dumbass to sit in the Oval Office. I expect the draft to be started early next year. Taxes for everyone but the rich should start soon after that to pay for it. I am more afraid for our country and the world than I have ever been. And I've grown up in the era that had Reagan joke about outlawing the Soviet Union and the bombing beginning in five minutes. My friend Debbie and I think that every invasion America has started has been under a Republican administration. We haven't gone through the data to be sure. But everyone knows this invasion was started by a Republican. A Republican that has never served in combat. That has no practical military experience. Who does not read the papers. Or even listen to advisors that disagree with him. Or the military commanders who disagree with him. Or anyone who disagrees with him. We are not safer now thatn we were four years ago. Osama Bin Laden is alive and well and planning further attacks on Americans. 400 tons of explosives are unaccounted for in Iraq. Al-Queda is flocking to Iraq to kill American soldiers. Those soldiers are underequipped and being led by commanders who are more concerned with following the Commander-In-Chief's orders than in doing what they need to to win this invasion. Within the past week, another tape was received, and authenticated, from a terrorist with a disturbingly American accent saying that the next attack on American soil will be worse than 9/11. I am afraid. But, there is some glimmer of hope. With a draft, jobs will open up as people are sent overseas for extensive tours. There will be more flu shots available next year because so many will go without this year that a flu epidemic will devastate the population. And I believe that this administration will kill the Republican Party. There's no way they can find someone dumber than Bush to dupe the public. And if by some miracle he DOES get us out of Iraq with our dignity intact, the economy will kill the GOP's chances of getting another candidate in the White House. So hang on, folks. It's going to be a bumpy ride. 8-) Steve // 8:16 AM ______________________ Comments: Post a Comment
